Hypelodge: Wow Thank God u choose music, And your song your song “portharcourt sabi the thing" We must say that is a very good song, so what was the idea behind that sound?
Don Darrow: That song "YOU SABI THE TIN" is a song that celebrates every creative individual or organization doing their best to push their craft to the world irrespective of your area of specialization
Hypelodge: So we’re guessing u started the Hash tag “#phsabithetin”?
Don Darrow: No. It was founded by some top entertainers in Port Harcourt; the likes of KO Baba, Olumati Isaiah, Benny Odumu, Bukwild The Ikwerrian. Shoutout to them I only contributed my quota as an artiste by doing the "YOU SABI THE TIN" song to support the movement.
Hypelodge: Nice so how do u see the ph music industry?
Don Darrow: The PH music industry is underrated and it’s so wrong. The PH music industry is super because we have super artistes both the ones already on board and the ones coming up. This is why the world needs to know that Port Harcourt Sabi the Tin
Hypelodge: So what do u think we aren’t doing right in d industry
Don Darrow: I think we should love, support and network with each other. We have The right sounds that can propel us to the world

Hypelodge: Wow
Don Darrow: Yeah
Hypelodge: So which artist do u look forward to working with both naija and international.
Don Darrow: Tekno, Waje, Tiwa Savage, Davido, Usher
Hypelodge: Tell us about your best\worst experience in the industry
Don Darrow: My best experience in the industry was in December 2017 when I was enlisted to perform alongside some A-list artistes in the country e.g. Flavour, Mr. 2kay, and IllBliss etc. It felt so good and my worst experience in the industry happened in the same December 2017. I was billed to perform at the Lavida show which held at the Polo Club in GRA. The crowd was not much and I saw the need to revive my audience. While on stage at the point where I was performing, there were technical issues and the sound went off. It was really terrible and I had to exit the stage afterwards.
Hypelodge: That’s really a bad experience, so how much do you bill for a show currently?
Don Darrow: I do not have a fixed price. Shows differ and also I work with relationship too. The way I will charge Mr. A, I won’t charge Mr. B that way, this is because I am not signed to a label yet
Hypelodge: Ok so record label would u wish/like to get signed under?
Don Darrow: It would be a dream come true to be signed under Mavin Records
Hypelodge: Must say u make right choices
Don Darrow: Thanks for the compliment. I just do not compromise excellence
Hypelodge: Tell us your best and worst experience from your fans?
Don Darrow: My best experience from fans was a month ago. I walked into the Port Harcourt Mall and a couple of people sighted me and started hailing me as well as taking pictures with me
I haven’t really had a worst experience from my fans at least for now
Hypelodge: Wow. That’s nice.
So what advice do you have for the young ones who are looking up to you and also want to be like you?
Don Darrow: It’s good for them to look up to I but they will fail if they want to be like me. They need to understand process and growth to succeed aright. Their first fans are themselves and they should believe in themselves and put in work. In a matter of time, they will be at the top
Hypelodge: Nicely said, Could you please drop your social handles so your fans can reach out to you
Don Darrow: Twitter/Instagram > @don_darrow
Hypelodge: It’s really nice having you. Thanks for your time, we hope we’ll do this again
Don Darrow: It’s my pleasure. You are welcome, I appreciate
